            With great pomp and majesty St. Joseph Higher Secondary School is being inaugurated by M I  Shanavas M P. His Excellency Mar Ramejiues Injanananil presided over the function. The most awaited aspiration of the people of Pullurampara has bloomed to a reality a few minutes ago.

      His Excellency Mar Ramejiues Injanananil blessed the institution in the solemn presence of  the Chief Guests and well wishers.

         

Thiruvampady under sex scandal

Thiruvampady  is credited with a bad mark again .  The repeated sex scandal has led to the arrest of a group of  people .The police reported that the seduction of women was going on since one month near the town.The police has taken the people into custody for further inquiry.

DYFI marched against the prostitution  .

The DYFI  strongly protested against the  sex racket . They adhered the local authority to be more vigilant and take strong action against the culprits.

Thusharagiri

Snuggled cozily in the Western Ghats of Kerala are the gurgling waterfalls of Thusharagiri. Meaning the snow capped mountains.Thushargiri waterfall destination exhibits a unique kinship between the land and water. The three waterfalls comprising Thusharagiri on the backdrop of the Western Ghats provide an exhilarating and spellbinding sight to the visitor.

The best roar of Thusharagiri waterfalls can be enjoyed from September to November. The waterfall with its gentle spray is sure to soothe every eye. The cascading waters of the waterfall slide past with surfy smiles. Two streams originating from the Western Ghats meet here to form the Chalippuzha River. The river diverges into the three waterfalls creating a snowy spray which gives it the name, Thusharagiri.

Three Falls

Of the three Thusharagiri waterfalls, the highest waterfall is the Thenpara that falls from an altitude of 75 metres. Situated at Kodencherry in Kozhikode district, the plantation destination that abounds in rubber, arecanut, pepper, ginger and spices is also a trekkers delight. Trekkers can start early morning from the second waterfalls at the hills and climb up through the pristine dense evergreen forests teeming with exotic birds and animals to reach Vythiri and Waynad district by evening. There is a dam located around 45 km from Calicut.

The place Thusharagiri offers challenging trekking and rock-climbing activity through the river path and numerous waterfalls. There is another dam located at 60 km from Calicut. It is a place of beauty, calm, and serenity. The place also has a crocodile farm run by the state forest department.

The Importance of a Language Learning Lab

A language learning lab is an excellent tool for learning languages because it provides the students with an opportunity to become active participants in the learning process.
Unlike conventional classroom structures where the students are given instruction and there is limited interaction between teacher and student, a language lab provides an opportunity for unlimited interaction between student and teacher as well as interaction among the students. The students also take a more active role during the process of reading, writing and listening in the desired language. In a language lab students have the opportunity to listen to native speakers of the language, record themselves speaking the language and converse with other students. The increased involvement by the students facilitates the learning process and greatly increases the students' success rates.

                 

Thiruvampady in Dilemma ?????

                The people of Thiruvampady Assembly Constituency is in dilemma as their M.L.A is in bed since the assembly election. Thge renowned IUML figure Sri Moyinkutty met with an accident on the day after the assembly election. He was seriously injured . Sri Moyinkutty is unable to utter a word as his lower jaw got fractured. He is waiting ahead to meet his people to express his sincere gratitude for selecting him for the secnd tenure.

Jordan Home- A shelter for the homeless.

 A shelter for homeless and needy has been set up in Pullurampara under the title JORDAN HOME.The refugees who seek shelter under this institution is known as Akasaparavakal. This charitable trust is run by Mr. Thankachan and his family of Pullurampara .Rev.Fr. George Kuttical is the founder of this JORDAN HOME . Indeed this is a great service to humanity. Here the people of good heart find their Christ in the marginalised and downtrodden who are negelected by the society.
